what the boys do

According to blogger, I wrote this back in 2010. It makes me giggle to read it now as not much has changed. Zach has widened his music tastes although he is my go to guy for pop music and wild kitchen dancing. He has given up on drawing werewolves and tigers. In fact JT has picked up drawing more and is often on the couch with a notebook and pencil doodling away (akin to his uncle). Legos still rule. Xbox and games that focus on Zombies and shooting have taken over. Baseball still rules this house although football is gaining traction. Star Wars isn't as popular but the girls went through a few weeks of demanding it.

Chickens

Well they are fickle almost three year olds so moods change with the wind. They are clearly divided though on who is Ariel and who is Cinderella. Lulu is very in to clothing and shoes while Kit Kat is not so concerned and prefers to wear her shoes on the wrong feet. Lulu is fearless at the playground but KitKat is the social bug. They both love animals real and plastic. They team up and whisper secret plans and make large messes usually involving water and their play kitchen. They also love to paint and I've hidden all things paint related so I don't have to deal with crying when I say no.

Zach
  • star wars - on rare moments when he believes no one is watching, he will mimic the light saber moves while he watches one of his many star wars movies
  • legos - hours of quiet entertainment - the best investment
  • lady gaga - the boys got MP3 players for Christmas and Zach has loaded his with Lady Gaga songs
  • drawing - he draws all sorts of awesome pictures but he really likes to draw himself as a tiger or werewolf
  • he loves the color green, donuts, and chocolate milk
JTseball - he watches, he plays, he plays baseball video games
  • baseball - he plays, he watches, he plays video games
  • legos - the only time he and his brother play together quietly
  • reading - his reading skyrocketed at the start of second grade and now he is never without a book but right now he is struggling with completing a book because there are so many options
  • science/investigation shows- he is very curious kid and is always watching shows like myth busters and paranormal investigations
  • he prefers the color blue and likes to eat just about everything but probably would pick bacon as his favorite item
